TIA II
So the STRANGEST thing happened to me yesterday and I find the timing to be as close to perfect as possible. This Thursday is my nine month mark here in Mozambique and whenever I hear anyone mention 9 months I think about the fact that I could have had a baby in that time. Yesterday, strangely enough, I "gave birth" (don´t get too excited/worried mom, it was not human).
My empregada Anita pulling out "pulgas" (fleas - well, technically flea eggs)
from the bottom of my foot. TIA

Oh you gross me out somethin awful here Sarah! Just when I got to thinking I didn't have to worry about all kinds of creatures that might get you over there!
I was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas (Go Hogs!!) and spent the last five years in the Big Easy where I fell in love with public health and traveling. In order to combine my two loves, I am headed to Mozambique for 27 months in the Peace Corps where I will work as a Community Health Promoter.

Does it count as giving birth....if the eggs didn't actually hatch??? Yuk.
